Kirkby Design has brought them up to date by playing around with new palettes, including blossom pink, teal and blackcurrant. Its campaign photography shows them being mixed and matched in true maximalist stye, with Chapel Street’s plain banquette with plinth doing a sterling job of evoking vintage tube seating.
